Section titled “Terms of Service”Effective date: June 16, 2026
Last updated: June 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZaneOps software, the website at zaneops.dev (the “Website”), and any commercial licenses you purchase (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Fredhel KISSIE, Entrepreneur Individuel (“EI”), trading under the commercial name “ZaneOps” (“we”, “us”, “our”), established in France.
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. The software and its licenses
Section titled “1. The software and its licenses”ZaneOps is an open-source, self-hosted platform. The software is made available under two distinct licenses depending on the component:
- Open-source core: the core of ZaneOps is licensed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it under that license’s terms.
- Commercial features (“EE”): code located in the
ee/directory is not open source. It is licensed separately under the ZaneOps Commercial License and may only be used in production with a valid, paid license for the applicable plan. You may, however, copy and modify it for development and testing purposes without a license. Refer to theLICENSEfile in that directory for the governing terms.
The applicable license file always prevails over these Terms for questions about the software itself. These Terms cover your use of the Website and the commercial relationship when you purchase a license.
2. Self-hosting and your responsibilities
Section titled “2. Self-hosting and your responsibilities”ZaneOps runs on infrastructure you control. Accordingly:
- You are solely responsible for installing, configuring, securing, operating, and backing up your ZaneOps instance.
- You are solely responsible for any data you, your team, or your end users place into or process through your instance, and for complying with all laws applicable to that data.
- We have no access to and no control over your self-hosted instance or the data within it, except for the limited, optional telemetry described in our Privacy Policy.

- circumvent, disable, bypass, or tamper with the license verification mechanism;
- enable or use EE features without a valid license;

- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the EE components.
Doing any of the above terminates your license automatically and may infringe our rights.
